This qualification covers the skills and knowledge required to perform a broad range of tasks on a variety of light vehicles in the automotive service and repair industry. Westgate College is partnering with Micro Lanka (Pvt) Ltd to facilitate with the training experience and internship for students enrolled to programme.
The AQF volume of learning of certificate level 3 is 1200 – 2400 hours, which is 1 year course duration with training/practical component in workshop.
The volume of learning allocated to a qualification should include all teaching, learning and assessment activities that are required to be undertaken by the typical student to achieve the learning outcomes.
These activities may include some or all of the following:
Guided learning (such as classes, lectures, tutorials, or self-paced study guides), individual study, and research, learning activities in the simulated workplace and assessment activities
